Archive Before Graduate [ABG] Series

Sectioned Studio publishes the ABG Series (Archive Before Graduate) annually—a curated archive of portfolios from students accepted into the top architecture graduate programs, including Harvard GSD, Columbia GSAPP, MIT, Yale, Cornell, and UPenn.

ABG is more than a collection of successful portfolios. It documents how each portfolio was built, why it worked, and what decisions shaped the acceptance outcome. For future applicants, ABG serves as a transparent resource that reveals the actual standards and strategies behind world-class admissions.

Workshop & Seminar

At Sectioned Studio, we regularly host workshops and seminars designed for students preparing for architecture, design, and art programs abroad.

Our programs go beyond simply delivering information—they are structured to help participants clearly understand their own work and define a direction that aligns with their goals. We dive deeply into the most challenging aspects of the application process, including portfolio development, concept building, storytelling, SOP writing, and school-specific strategies. Each session provides practical feedback and guidance tailored to each individual’s strengths.

Sectioned Studio’s workshops and seminars aim to offer clear direction, actionable feedback, and the momentum needed to continue growing throughout the study-abroad preparation journey.
