Cancellation Policy

Initial Interview Policy The Initial Interview is a one-time, 60-minute consultation designed to evaluate your current portfolio, understand your academic or professional goals, and establish a personalized direction for your application strategy. Please read the following policies before booking: 1. Eligibility The Initial Interview is available only to first-time students who have never taken a Sectioned Studio class before. Each student may book one Initial Interview only. 2. Purpose of the Interview The Initial Interview includes: Assessment of your current portfolio, skills, and design background Discussion of target schools/companies and the requirements for each Recommendations on project direction, portfolio structure, and development strategy Overview of the Online Portfolio Class format, timeline, and expectations Optional review of SOP, résumé, or application materials (time permitting) Please note: This is a consultation, not a full critique session. Detailed revisions or hands-on project editing take place only in regular lessons. 3. Booking & Payment Time slots must be booked through the official booking link. A Google Form application must be submitted before the interview. Payment must be completed within the deadline indicated in the form. Reservations are confirmed only after both the form and payment are completed. 4. Rescheduling & Cancellation Rescheduling is allowed once, up to 24 hours before the appointment time. Cancellations made within 24 hours or no-shows are non-refundable. If you are more than 10 minutes late, the session may be shortened or cancelled without refund. 5. Refund Policy The Initial Interview fee is non-refundable under all circumstances once the booking is confirmed. If Sectioned Studio must cancel or reschedule for any reason, a full refund or alternative time will be offered. 6. Preparation Requirements To make the most of the session, students must: Upload portfolios, sketches, or relevant work at least 24 hours before the interview Prepare a list of target schools, majors, or companies (if applicable) Ensure stable internet and audio/video setup for the session Failure to provide materials may limit the depth of feedback during the session. 7. Confidentiality All shared materials—including portfolios, personal statements, and personal information—are kept strictly confidential and will not be shared with third parties. 8.
